Resale Listings Continue to Climb

 

 

ARMLS compiles monthly data to release reports about the previous month’s activity on approximately the 15th of each month.  In this rapidly changing market, using the Arizona Regional Monthly Listing Service (ARMLS) Sales Reports exclusively may delay your timely identification of market changes.   You need to know what has happened since the last report was compiled for February (and released in mid-March) to assess development of trends in late February through early April.

 

 

 

Real-time Information

 

 

For the last couple of weeks the growth in the listing rate has declined from around 1,000 per week to 600.    Although the rate has slowed during this period of time, the quantity of listings continues to grow.  From January 1 to April 8th, 12,644 additional listings have been added to the inventory count!

Commentary

 

 

Over the last two weeks, the rate of increase in new listings slowed.  It appears that the trend may be moderating slightly; however, two weeks is too short of a time frame to accurately predict a definitive change.  Growth of resale listings remains high.
